VetCenter(ed), the Veterans Affairs employee newsletter, recently featured an article on Yoga Warriors. The article was written by Nancy Adamson, LMFT, Marriage and Family Therapist at the Sepulveda Vet Center. Yoga Warriors teacher, Barry Schweiger, is active teaching and working with the veterans at the Sepulveda Vet Center.

We are pleased to announce that our article: The Effect of Sensory Enhanced Yoga on Symptoms of Combat Stress in Deployed Military Personnel, by Lynn Stoller, Major Jon Greuel, Lucy Cimini, Mary Fowler, and Jane Koomar, will be appearing in the January 2012 edition of the American Journal of Occupational Therapy.

Jon H. Greuel, Maj, USAF, MHR, RYT and Mary S. Fowler, Ph.D., RYT presented a talk on the Yoga Warrior program at the Annual Zarrow Mental Health Symposium in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 23.
The symposium focused on Addressing Trauma across the Lifespan: Emerging Knowledge, Evidence-based Treatments and Support.
