Welcome to Yoga Warriors Classes!

Yoga Warriors is designed specifically to assist soldiers in coping with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as well as the daily and specific stresses that military members are exposed to. The classes are also open to those who are first responders, such as paramedics and firefighters, who also witness emotionally difficult experiences

The classes listed below are for the Yoga Warriors headquarters in West Boylston, MA. There are many other Yoga Warriors classes in the US and Canada. Please visit the Teachers page and search for your state to contact teachers who are located in your area.

Do I need prior Yoga experience to attend? Our Yoga Warriors classes are suitable for everyone – all sizes, ages, shapes, backgrounds and physical abilities. Absolutely no prior Yoga experience is necessary, but if you have practiced Yoga before, you will feel right at home, too.

What time should I arrive? We start classes promptly so please arrive 10-15 minutes early to sign in and get settled. If you can’t attend one week, please make sure to join us the next! If you want to bring a guest who fits the criteria and who may benefit from the class, that is fine!

How should I dress for class? Please wear comfortable, stretchy clothing or workout attire that allows you to move freely. Be prepared to practice barefoot.

What should I bring to class? Please bring : an open heart and mind! This is a judgment free zone!

Should I eat before class? It’s best not to eat a heavy meal two hours prior to class, but a light meal or snack, about an hour or two before is okay.

Will there be paperwork to fill out? YES. We will ask that you fill out a confidential consent/release form and a military id for security purposes only.
